Ross took part in the “Integrating AI in Computational Chemistry” workshop hosted by the University of Sheffield’s Centre for Machine Intelligence in September 2024. This one-day event brought together researchers exploring how AI can enhance or replace traditional methods in computational chemistry.
Held at the Students’ Union building, the workshop featured talks, posters, and discussions on algorithm development, automation, and data-driven methods. Ross contributed to the exchange of ideas, highlighting the growing role of machine learning in chemical research.
