01 TuttleLab
02 How we recruit
Recruitment to TuttleLab is based on an advertised position or a clear match between a proposed project and the group’s research. Please do not send generic speculative applications. If you contact the group outside an advertised vacancy, explain the scientific question you want to pursue, why it fits the lab, and the funding route you are considering.

02
Prospective PhD students should make contact only where there is a specific research idea aligned with the group’s work.
A concise enquiry should identify the scientific question, explain the fit with TuttleLab, and state the likely funding route. Generic messages without a defined scientific connection are unlikely to receive a response.
03
Undergraduate and project-student opportunities depend on project availability, timing and appropriate supervision.
Enquiries should refer to a specific area of the group’s research and briefly explain the question or topic the student hopes to investigate.
